The Sustainable Oban committee is open to all representatives from environmental or sustainability organisations and committed indivuals in and around Oban who wish to play an active role in the development and activities of the forum.

The committee members get together four or five times a year to discuss forum issues and progress, and to set an agenda for future meetings and events.

Together they carry out forum tasks, such as organising meetings, mastering the website and keeping forum members up to date about forum meetings and environmental events in the area.

Most individual committee members represent a field of expertise, such as energy, waste and pollution, marine biodiversity, fair trade activities, farming, etc.
